da roleta: Aston Villa have been busy so far this month, bringing in Pepe Reina, Danny Drinkwater and Mbwana Samatta, but it seems as though they won’t be bringing in any more players before the transfer deadline.
da bet7: Indeed, it seems as though Villa are going to settle for three incomings this month, and the Midlands club are apparently quite happy about that.

What’s been said then?
John Percy wrote an update in The Telegraph’s live transfer blog.
“Aston Villa are not expected to make any new signings today but remain satisfied with their January transfer business.
“Villa have been searching for a second striker yet hopes of adding another forward appear remote at this stage.
“Leicester’s Islam Slimani, on loan at Monaco, was a target but the deal was too complicated,” Percy wrote
Bad news
This is a rather deflating update as you can’t help but feel the Villans needed another body through the door before Friday’s deadline.
With Wesley out until the end of the season, the Birmingham-based outfit simply don’t have another natural number nine other than the new boy Samatta.
With the Midlands club staring a relegation battle in the face you feel that they need more depth up top as an injury to the Tanzania international would leave them with no viable options in that position.
The Villans may want to reconsider this stance before the window closes.
