da imperador bet: Having been a key part of the AS Monaco side that shocked the whole of Europe by storming their way to a Champions League semi-final a few years ago, Djibril Sidibe’s career at club level appeared to take a sharp decline.
da esoccer bet: Whilst the likes of Benjamin Mendy, Bernardo Silva and Tiemoue Bakayoko, amongst others, left soon after, Sidibe stayed put, and suffered as the club’s results took a downturn – the Ligue 1 giants finished in 17th last season.
The France World Cup winner needed an escape route, and he may have thought he got it when he made the move to the Premier League to join Everton on a season-long loan.
Sadly for him, opportunities have been hard to come by, with Seamus Coleman being Marco Silva’s preferred option at right-back for the majority of the season. However, with the Irishman suspended, Sidibe was thrown into the mix against West Ham on Saturday afternoon, and he certainly didn’t disappoint.
