da betcris: Sheffield Wednesday boss Jos Luhukay has been experimenting with his side throughout the Owls’ first six Championship games and looks like he is yet to decide on his best starting XI.
da betobet: While the Dutchman seems to have settled on a 4-2-3-1 formation for league games, he clearly hasn’t decided on which striker should be leading the line. Kosovan international Atdhe Nuhiu has started the most games so far, but he has scored just one goal in four starts which came on the opening weekend against Wigan.
Fernando Forestieri, rated at £6.3m by Transfermarkt, has been the Owls’ most prolific striker of the season so far and has appeared in every league game, with two goals coming from just two starts and four substitute appearances, making the diminutive 5ft 8in man surely the best option for Luhukay. The club also have former Scotland international Steven Fletcher on the books and the 31-year-old has also made two starts and four appearances off the bench, but is yet to score this season.
So, Wednesday fans, if Luhukay does stick with one upfront against Stoke on Saturday, who do you think should be the man to lead the line? Have your say by voting in our poll below.
