da 888: Another France game at the Euros and another win for Didier Deschamps’ side.
da aviator aposta: This time around it was their chance to knock-out plucky Iceland, who had surprised many along the way during their Euro 2016 journey. But sadly it was time for the Icelanders to go home after they were put to the sword by France, losing 5-2 on the night.
But another standout performance in the French side came from want-away Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko who again did little to harm his chances of earning a move away from the Championship-bound side this summer.
He has been linked with a move all summer and his strong showings for his national team are potentially helping some of the bigger sides to come in and stump up the funds needed to secure his signature.
So with that in mind, here’s FIVE potential destinations for Sissoko after another strong performance for France on Sunday evening…
Manchester City
Pep has got a big rebuilding job on his hands this summer as he aims to build a Manchester City team capable of challenging for the Premier League title.
One player that has really been out-of-sorts over the past couple of years is Yaya Toure and there seemingly can’t be a better replacement that Sissoko.
Pacey, powerful and aggressive – he is the perfect player to both marshal the defence and assist going forward.
Liverpool
The Reds fell just short in the Europa League final last year and you have to wonder how the game might have been different with someone like Sissoko in the middle of the park.
Lots of Liverpool’s play is dictated by quick passing coupled with the flair of Coutinho and Firmino but someone like Sissoko could anchor their midfielder rather nicely indeed, giving the two Brazilian’s even more freedom to go forward.
Arsenal
If the Gunners want Premier League glory again then its players like Sissoko that make the job so much easier. Even as a squad player, having that reliability and pace that he offers is massive when the going gets tough.
Arsenal have looked extremely fragile in the last couple of years, even when they have been doing well and a player like Sissoko would really beef up their midfield going forward.
Paris Saint-Germain
It’s been all change at PSG this summer and there is little doubt that Unai Emery will be looking to build a squad capable of dominating Ligue 1 again next season. With big players leaving, it’s important for the former Sevilla manager to bring in some competent replacements and Sissoko really fits the bill.
Big, strong and quick- he’d improve any team in most leagues around the world. Another benefit? He knows the league extremely well from his time with Toulouse.
Chelsea
Chelsea have got all the tools in place to recapture their dominance next season- a solid manager and a well-rounded squad. But Moussa Sissoko would really add a level of depth to the Stamford Bridge set-up that we haven’t seen in recent years.
Often dominated by flair, you can’t help but feel that sometimes Chelsea do miss a bit of grit and aggression in the middle of the park. A player like Sissoko would really provide you with that, even if he isn’t a sure-fire starter game-after-game.
