da leao: Aston Villa are on a roll having won their last two Championship matches and extended their unbeaten run in the league to six on Saturday.Steve Bruce’s side earned a 2-1 triumph over Nottingham Forest at Villa Park to put themselves two points within the playoff places after nine games.Albert Adomah opened the scoring for the club, while Conor Hourihane nabbed the second in a game that had some tense moments for Villa.Hourihane has now scored five goals in eight league outings, seven of which had the midfielder in the starting lineup.The 26-year-old joined the Midlands outfit from Barnsley in January and ended the 2016-17 campaign with one goal and three assists in 17 Championship appearances.The Republic of Ireland international has already improved his goal tally significantly in the league, and club owner Tony Xia has put it all down to the player’s work on the training field.After today’s win, the Chinese businessman took to Twitter to celebrate.
