da dobrowin: Pierre-Michel Lasogga revealed at the weekend that playing in the Premier League represents ‘a childhood dream’.
da pinnacle: The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Leeds United from Bundesliga side Hamburger SV, and the striker has scored 10 times in 26 Championship appearances for the Whites.
Lasogga is widely expected to leave Hamburg on a permanent deal at the end of the season, and it is thought that Leeds do not have much chance of signing the German.
That said, it seems that the club’s supporters would not be too bothered if Lasogga, who is valued at £2.3m by transfermarket.co.uk, did not arrive at Elland Road on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
Indeed, a number of the Leeds fanbase have claimed that Lasogga will never be good enough for the Premier League, and have questioned his contribution to the cause this season, despite a decent return of 10 goals thus far.
