The 23 year-old has had to wait for his chance at the Italian outfit, but has been in superb form this season and is now one of the first names on the team sheet.
He is winning nearly two aerial duels per game this season, as well as averaging 1.4 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and nearly five clearances per game, all while boasting an 89 per cent pass completion rate.
Tottenham meanwhile are very thin at the back after the injury to Jan Vertonghen, perhaps why fans have voted so overwhelmingly to sign the youngster.
