da apostebet: Tottenham didn’t sign anyone over the summer, but you’d expect that to change, sooner rather than later. They’ve had a decent start to the season, but they haven’t been able to lead a charge on the Premier League title as they have in recent years yet this term, and that’s disappointing.
da esoccer bet: Naturally, Mauricio Pochettino will be eager to improve his squad through January and heading into next season, but that could also involve letting a few players leave.
There are a handful of individuals at Spurs that have contracts that are set to expire at the end of the season, and one man that is surely on the verge of a North London exit is Fernando Llorente.
Brought in to play as the back-up to Harry Kane, Llorente’s time at Spurs just never really got started. The Spaniard came with a rich history and pedigree of scoring and leading, but he managed to leave all of that back in Swansea.
He had a slow start to life at the club, and he’s never been able to gather up any pace. He hasn’t scored regularly, he hasn’t been able to make an impact off the bench, and to be honest, he hasn’t done anything that he was brought in to do.
This move will perhaps go down as the most disappointing transfer that Mauricio Pochettino pulled off, and the sooner it comes to an end, the better.
Spurs won’t win anything without a quality back-up for Harry Kane, and Llorente is not that man. A new deal would make no sense, and it’s tough to see him getting one. An exit beckons.
